As a black womxn growing up in I never found truly black spaces that showed people like myself who grew up in similar households that I could easily connect to. The idea for the blog was to create a safe space where regular black womxn like myself could identify. Where our life experiences could be told by us without judgement, where the freedom to create was there and you didn’t need to over explain your view and background.
Black womxn are multifaceted beings and I want this blog to show exactly that.
